For diagnostic purposes, the syslog of a LCOS LX-based device can be sent to an external syslog server.
The settings for this can be found under

Configure one or more syslog servers in the External Server table. Messages can be sent via TCP or UDP.
Important: Note that syslog messages are unencrypted and may contain sensitive information about your network. For this reason they should only be transmitted for diagnostic purposes over a secure network.

- Name
- Name of the external syslog server.
- IP address
- IP address of the external syslog server.
- Port
- Port of the external syslog server.
- Protocol
- Protocol (TCP/UDP) used to communicate with the external syslog server.
