CeBIT 2012 in Hanover, Germany—LANCOM expects packed halls while exhibiting innovations in LTE and branch-office connectivity

Aachen, 07 February 2012—The specialists in site connectivity and wireless LAN infrastructures look back on ten years of CeBIT participation. LANCOM Systems are expecting buoyant attendance and more visitors to their booth. The team is presenting a range of innovative solutions and products in hall 13, booth C28.

LANCOM exhibits new products with built-in cellular modems for wireless data communications, which take high-speed connectivity even to large or small branch offices without permanent Internet. These devices support LTE, the latest cellular standard which is widely available in rural areas, offers high bandwidths in towns and cities, and is now encouraging entirely new applications and business models.

Also on exhibit on the booth is the latest version of LANCOM's own device software. Users of the Apple iPhone benefit as LANCOM launches their first iOS apps for VPN and support. Industry-specific solutions for the retail, logistics and hospitality sectors are expected to attract new target groups this year and to demonstrate LANCOM's expertise in these fields. All of this is a part of the "Experience your LANCOM" campaign, which exhibits LANCOM's specialization in the areas of site and branch-office connectivity.

Further hot topics at this year's fair are the integrated solutions for branch-office connectivity and wireless LAN for customers in hospitality and in logistics. As in previous years, LANCOM is exhibiting in Hall 13, Booth C28. Appointments can be requested by e-mail to sascha.smid@axicom.de or by telephone under +49 (0)89 800 90 827.

"It's hard to believe that we are exhibiting at CeBIT for the tenth year since our foundation—that's how time flies," says Ralf Koenzen, CEO and co-founder of LANCOM Systems GmbH. "Our aim at this year's CeBIT is to significantly expand our position in the German and European markets for site connectivity and wireless LAN solutions. As a German manufacturer our outlook on the future is very positive, despite the current uncertainty in the markets."
