Pirates Aye – A Different Kind of Treasure Hunt

Customers and partners hunt for the oldest operational LANCOM device

Aachen, 16 July 2012 – As part of its jubilee campaign LANCOM is searching for the oldest LANCOM device still in operation. All business customers, partners, and resellers are invited to join the treasure hunt. Whoever discovers that they have the “treasure” can register it along with a photo of the type label at the treasure hunt website. The winner will be whoever can provide evidence of the oldest operational device. And you won’t have to be a pirate to enjoy the prize.

LANCOM is inviting its customers, retailers and partners to join in a treasure hunt to celebrate LANCOM’s 10-year jubilee. The “treasure” they are looking for is the kind found in server rooms, on desks, in office corners and wherever else LANCOM devices have been faithfully providing their service “for ages.” Potential pirates can find detailed contest information at www.lancom-systems.de/en/treasure-hunt/.

The contest is open until 08/31/2012. There is no limit to the number of “old devices” that may be registered. First prize is an attractive weekend for two in Berlin.

More information and the terms of the contest can be found at www.lancom-systems.de/en/treasure-hunt/
