"LANCOM 1-Click-VPN" sets up your configuration in an instant
Aachen, August 27, 2007 - The new LCOS 7.20 provides all current VPN-capable routers with "1-Click-VPN". These new unique features make child's play of VPN site-to-site coupling and of setting up VPN remote access.
With the free upgrade to the LANCOM routers' LANCOM management system, customers benefit once again from LANCOM's innovation.
Until now, VPN installation has gained the reputation of being highly complex, poorly documented, and extremely time consuming.
LANCOM VPN routers make that a thing of the past. Now, even complex VPN scenarios can be fully automatically configured with a click of the mouse, and no expert knowledge is required. For example, to connect new LANCOM VPN routers to company headquarters via VPN tunnel, they are simply moved by "drag and drop" onto the central device in the LANCOM management software LANconfig. Within seconds the complete VPN configuration is written to the device and the secured tunnel is available. Never before was the configuration of VPN tunnels this quick and easy.
Setting up an access account for a VPN software client is just as easy. 1-Click-VPN generates a script for the LANCOM Advanced VPN Client, and importing this into the LANCOM Advanced VPN Client is all the configuration work that is required.
