Welcome to our AI-based digital assistant for the LANCOM switch portfolio. Here you receive quick answers to your individual questions about switches and switch networking around the clock. To expand our support offering and as a first point of contact, the digital assistant supports you in answering simple portfolio questions. For questions that go beyond this, you are welcome to use the live chat with LANCOM employees or the contact form. We look forward to your questions and feedback. Enjoy trying it out!

The digital assistant is currently in the testing phase, also known as the beta phase. This means that incorrect answers and mistakes can happen and are part of the learning process. Your feedback helps us a lot to expand the knowledge of the AI chatbot: It is therefore best to let us know the quality of the answers in each chat via a thumbs up or down. With your feedback, also via the feedback form, you help our AI trainers to improve the chatbot on a daily basis!

AI made in Germany

For the solution, we rely on a provider with a platform developed in Europe, including secure data processing and exclusive use of European cloud providers. The large language model (LLM) used is ChatGPT-4o mini, hosted in Europe (MS Azure).

The solution provider is a member of the German KI Bundesverband, a dedicated community of companies and experts committed to the future of artificial intelligence in Europe.

The association aims to promote AI technology in line with European values and democratic principles and to ensure digital sovereignty in Europe.

Tips & tricks for your chat

Wording

Write short, precise, and simple queries, so-called prompts. Provide sufficient context so that the questions can be answered better and completely according to your expectations. It is best to formulate questions rather than instructions. If you want to include product names in your questions, make sure they are spelled completely (e. g. inclusive hyphens).

Interaction

Ask your questions one after the other and wait for the answer. Depending on the complexity, it can take up to three seconds to answer. You can refer to previous questions in the chat and ask the digital assistant follow-up questions if you need more details on your topic. Please avoid off-topic questions to optimize the quality of your answers.

Data protection

The chat histories are stored for up to three months without any conclusions being drawn about the user. The questions on quality improvement are evaluated anonymously by our employees who specialize in AI training. However, please do not enter any personal, sensitive or confidential data, but anonymize it if necessary.
