LANCOM at CeBIT 2007: LANvantage, WLAN Controller, VoIP phone and much more
Channel at center of focus; European market leadership as goal
Aachen, January 31, 2007 - LANCOM Systems GmbH is moving to the Networks Hall 13 for this year's fair. The highlight is the introduction of the new WLAN Controller WLC 4010 and WLC 4100. LANCOM is also presenting new products such as the Voice over IP (VoIP) telephone VP-100 and the partner program LANvantage. This will help the German quality-product manufacturer to continue the success story of cooperation with their channel partners.
"CeBIT has always been a worthwhile investment for us", says Ralf Koenzen, Managing Director of LANCOM Systems GmbH. "This is why we are again making our way to Hanover with a collection of exciting innovations. We fully expect the move to the Networks Hall 13 to give us an extra boost. With our focus on professional communications solutions, the location is ideal for us."
Products from the new WLAN Controller line are modern hardware components for managing and monitoring medium-sized and larger WLAN installations. The main function of these devices is to centralise management and greatly simplify the setup and operation of WLAN installations. The WLAN-specific functions of all LANCOM access points are relocated to a central WLAN Controller. The combination of the WLAN Controller with the LANCOM proprietary operating system LCOS offers intelligent network management and safeguards investment. The integration of any existing LANCOM Wireless LAN access points is simple and secure.
The improved control over WLAN infrastructure offered by LANCOM WLAN Controllers will particularly benefit mid-sized and larger companies, universities and hospitals.
Optimally tuned to the LANCOM product portfolio, the LANCOM SIP Hardphone VP-100 combines seamlessly with the LANCOM Business VoIP Gateways and the VoIP options available for other LANCOM products. Customer branch-office structures benefit from complete VoIP solutions, especially when sourced from LANCOM Partners.
The reworked LANvantage partner program from LANCOM provides an even greater range of services to IT specialist resellers and system vendors, as well as direct support to the channel. LANCOM aims to build up an even denser network of qualified partners and, as a European manufacturer, to offer even more intensive support.
