New, bigger booth demonstrates expansion course
LANCOM at CeBIT:
300-Mbit access points, WLAN Controllers, UMTS routers, and an updated partner program
Aachen, January 17, 2008 – At this year's CeBIT in Hall 13, Booth C34 LANCOM Systems presents a selection of new WLAN and UMTS products. LANCOM is also introducing an update to their partner program for specialist resellers and system vendors as well as an improved training concept.
"Visitors this year can look forward to several new products and improvements to our support of business partners," comments Ralf Koenzen, Managing Director of LANCOM Systems GmbH. "We will also be presenting a number of updates to existing products. Cebit is without doubt the most important exhibition for Lancom for contact to our specialist resellers, system vendors and customers. That's why we are very much looking forward to this year's Cebit in Hanover."
On a new and larger booth extending over 120 sqm the manufacturer based in Aachen, Germany presents its new LANCOM L 300 Wireless range of access points. Greater range, greater speeds and even easier management are the main characteristics of the new 300-Mbps class devices. LANCOM introduces the first business access points based on the 802.11n draft 2.0 standard and featuring a Gigabit Ethernet connection.
Also on display are the Wireless LAN Controllers LANCOM WLC-4006 and WLC-4025. These devices support up to 100 LANCOM wireless LAN access points and routers, including the latest generation of 300-Mbit access points.
In addition to cabled broadband access, the new VPN routers LANCOM 1751 UMTS and 3850 UMTS also support high-speed cellular connections via UMTS. The LANCOM 1751 UMTS is a business VPN router with integrated UMTS and ADSL2+ modems, it supports ISDN and has all of the interfaces necessary for professional site connectivity; the LANCOM 3850 UMTS has an integrated WLAN module. Furthermore LANCOM is showcasing their current portfolio of solutions for site connectivity, wireless indoor and outdoor networks, and VoIP solutions for small, medium-sized and large enterprises.
LANCOM will also be providing information on their improved training program. The Training Center offers a new program with over 80 newly designed courses and individual certifications.
