Aachen, February 15, 2018—LANCOM Systems, the leading German manufacturer of networking solutions for business customers and the public sector, has filled the newly created position Product Line Manager. On January 15, Tarik Erdemir took up the position of Vice President of LANCOM's router and VPN gateway product lines. The 50-year-old comes from unified-communications and collaboration specialist Arkadin.
The doctoral engineer looks back on more than 20 years of experience in various product-management and sales positions in the IT and telecommunications industry. Most recently he was responsible for Professional Services, Presales and Project Management, as well as the launch of Cloud UC and Collaboration Services from the UCaaS specialists Arkadin in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In other positions, he was head of Product Management at D-Link Central Europe, and he managed the business development for networks and unified communications at Controlware GmbH.
In his new position, Tarik Erdemir is responsible for the development and lifecycle management of the LANCOM VPN portfolio. He will also assist the management in matters of product and market strategy. He reports to Christian Schallenberg, CTO and member of the extended Management Board at LANCOM.
