According to media reports, an estimated 12 million DSL routers are affected by the vulnerability "Misfortune Cookie". Attackers can take complete control over the router. This vulnerability affects routers from manufacturers who use the RomPager embedded web server from AllegroSoft.
LANCOM routers are secure and are not affected by the vulnerability. LANCOM's proprietary operating system LCOS does not use the RomPager software.
