By selecting the optimal ventilation concept, you ensure maximum performance and reliable overheating protection for the LANCOM CS-8132F, while also extending the device's service life. For uninterrupted cooling during rack operation, the core switch is available in two hardware variants with different fan modules: axial fans supporting either front-to-back or back-to-front airflow (F2B / B2F). The fan module LANCOM SFAN-CS8-F2B or SFAN-CS8-B2F can be swapped during operation if the built-in fans fail, ensuring your network remains available at all times.
LANCOM CS-8132F
The 100G fiber core switch is ideal for enterprise campus networks. For increased reliability and uninterrupted replacement, the LANCOM CS-8132F is equipped as standard with two hot-swappable power supply units (PSU) and three hot-swappable fans (with n+1 redundancy).
The core switch achieves optimum cooling performance in rack environment thanks to two hardware variants with different airflow designs and matching power supply units and fans: With a front-to-back or back-to-front airflow direction (F2B variant / B2F variant), the LANCOM CS-8132F meets the different cooling requirements. This extends the service life of the product and increases its flexibility of use.
