LANCOM switches, routers, and firewalls with integrated SFP ports are characterized by maximum versatility in use. Be it for high-speed fiber-optic networking or as a copper-cabled Ethernet port: LANCOM Transceiver modules provide the specialized connections you need for your LANCOM device. And thanks to the tried-and-tested compatibility with LANCOM products, LANCOM Transceiver offer the best connections and highest reliability.
The LANCOM transceiver modules for fiber-optic networking of components in Gigabit speed are compatible with SFP ports of all of the switches, routers and Unified Firewalls listed in the table below.

Bidirectional transceiver modules require only a single optical fiber for data transmission, which simplifies network provisioning, cabling, and configuration.

- Up to 1 Gbps link speed
- Full duplex operation
- Supports 9/125 µm (20 km cable length) single mode fiber
- Support for Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM)
- Swappable during system operation (hot-pluggable)
- Transmitting and receiving via only one optical fiber with two separate
- wavelengths (1270 nm / 1330 nm)
- LC/UPC connector
- Up to 10 Gbps link speed
- Full duplex operation
- Supports 9/125 µm (20 km cable length) single mode fiber
- Support for Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM)
- Swappable during system operation (hot-pluggable)
In order to use a SFP port of the devices listed in the table below for Gigabit speed over copper lines, we offer the following transceiver modules:
- RJ45 Ethernet transceiver 1000BASE-T
- Up to 1 Gbps link speed
- Full-duplex mode
- Operating temperature 0–70 °C
- Also available as 10-piece bulk package
Note: For operating LANCOM SFP-CO1 in a LANCOM switch, a firmware LCOS SX 3.30 RU3 or higher is required. The firmware is available in our download section.
The optical transceivers (SFP modules) offered here have been tested and approved across all models by LANCOM quality assurance. This means that you receive the full warranty and manufacturer support for these modules. Please note that support for third-party accessories (SFP) is excluded.
Notes:
- The modules SFP-SX-LC1, SFP-LX-LC1, and SFP-SX2-LC1 are downward compatible with the 1 Gbps SFP interfaces of all LANCOM R&S®Unified Firewalls and LANCOM switches.
- The module SFP-CO1 is not suitable for LANCOM GS-13xx, LANCOM 190x, and LANCOM 2326x(+), as these products are equipped with combo ports.
